This provides excellent shade (forĀ slow cherry maturation),Ā biodiversity, and organic compounds for soil health which in turn producesĀ some of the most complex coffee cherries ever tasted. This coffee sold for a staggering $661/lb at theĀ auction this year, which isĀ the most expensive washed coffee in history.
